Meditations are beneficial to improving your long-term health.  Establishing a meditation routine will help you in many areas of your life.  Below you will find General Meditation Information along with a selection of Meditations that you can begin practicing.

General Meditation Information

A successful meditation practice begins with the following.

  • Establish a daily practice – set aside a period of time that you can devote to your meditation practice
  • Comfortable location, clothing, and position are critical to a successful meditation
  • Soft music
  • Incense
  • Avoid interruptions – turn off the cell phone, silence alerts, and notifications
  • Gently quiet the mind – any thoughts that arise, simply accept them and release them
  • Remember – Meditation is a process that allows you to learn to quiet the constant mind chatter

Meditation to Maintain Your Chakras’ Balance and Flow, by Robert Gerami

Purpose:  This meditation is designed to maintain the chakras’ energy flow and balance.  To assist in keeping you grounded each day to Mother Earth.

Follow the General Meditation Information as you begin your journey.

  1. Relax your body and close your eyes as you settle into a comfortable position. Feel waves of relaxation move through you from your head to your toes.
  2. Take a deep breath, breathing through your nose, then hold your breath for a count of six. Now exhale the breath through your mouth.  Repeat this breath work three times.
  3. Call on your Spirit Guide(s), Ascended Masters, and Guardian Angels to be with you on this journey.
  4. Now visualize or feel the Golden Universal Energy begin to slowly and gently flow down into your Chakra System
  5. As it reaches each Chakra, feel the Golden Universal Energy begin to swirl as it opens, cleans, and revitalizes the Chakra.
  6. Start at your Crown Chakra, located about one foot above the top center of your head. Feel or visualize the Golden Universal Energy as it opens, cleans, and revitalizes your Crown Chakra.
  7. Follow the energy flow as it reaches your Third Eye Chakra, located slightly above your eye browses in the center of your head. Feel or visualize the Golden Universal Energy as it opens, cleans, and revitalizes your Third Eye Chakra.
  8. Follow the energy flow as it reaches your Throat Chakra. Feel or visualize the Golden Universal Energy as it opens, cleans, and revitalizes your Throat Chakra.
  9. Follow the energy flow as it reaches your Heart Chakra. Feel or visualize the Golden Universal Energy as it opens, cleans, and revitalizes your Heart Chakra.
  10. Follow the energy flow as it reaches your Solar Plexus Chakra. Feel or visualize the Golden Universal Energy as it opens, cleans, and revitalizes your Solar Plexus Chakra.
  11. Follow the energy flow as it reaches your Sacral Chakra. Feel or visualize the Golden Universal Energy as it opens, cleans, and revitalizes your Sacral Chakra.
  12. Follow the energy flow as it reaches your Root Chakra. Feel or visualize the Golden Universal Energy as it opens, cleans, and revitalizes your Root Chakra.
  13. Visualize a silver cord dropping down from your Root Chakra, deep into Mother Earth, until it reaches the heart of Mother Earth where it entangles itself completely. Allow the Universal Energy to flow into the Heart of Mother Earth, filling her with Universal Healing Love!
  14. Visualize a beautiful violet flame begins flowing up the silver cord from Mother Earth, a wonderful gift she sends you. Observe as the Violet Flame ignites into each of your Chakras, completely filling them with a deep profound loving energy.
  15. Slowly return from your meditation as you open your eyes, knowing that you are Loved, Protected, and Fully Grounded to Mother Earth.

Etheric Cord Cutting Meditation and Spiritual Protection, by Robert Gerami

Purpose:  This meditation is to daily cut all Etheric Cords left over from the previous day.  To prepare you for the day and provide a shield of protection surrounding your Etheric Body.  This Meditation is designed for use each morning.  It works great in the shower, or as a stand-alone meditation.  It is designed to take only a few minutes to complete (i.e.- two minutes).

As a stand-alone meditation, follow the General Meditation Information as you begin your journey.

  1. Relax your body and close your eyes, call upon Archangel Michael and ask him to cut all cords of attachment on your Etheric Body, right now!
  2. Take a deep breath, breathing through you nose, then hold breath for a count of six. Now exhale the breath through your mouth.  Repeat this breath work three times.
  3. Call on your Spirit Guide(s), Ascended Masters, and Guardian Angels to be with you on this journey.
  4. Now visualize or feel the Universal Energy begin to flow down into your Chakra System. Feel the energy flow in and out of each Chakra, bringing the Chakra to an optimal speed for your Etheric Body.
  5. Visualize a silver cord dropping down from your Root Chakra, deep into Mother Earth, until it reaches the heart of Mother Earth where it entangles itself completely. Allow the Universal Energy to flow into the Heart of Mother Earth, filling her with Universal Healing Love!
  6. Visualize a beautiful violet flame begins flowing up the silver cord from Mother Earth, a wonderful gift she sends you. Observe as the Violet Flame ignites into each of your Chakras, completely filling them with a deep profound loving energy.
  7. Visualize the beautiful Violet Flame begin to expand and surround your body, as it expands out, all cord remnants are dissolved away and the energy is returned to the Universe.
  8. Envision this amazing energy as it completely surrounds you and begins to expand out from your body to form a protective energy field all around you.
  9. Now observe a highly reflective mirror forming around the energy shield. Any negative energy that attempts to attach to you will be immediately reflected back to the source and transformed into Loving-Healing Energy that will help to heal and change the negativity of the source.
  10. Bring your hands up together in front of your chest in the “gassho” universal prayer, or meditation position; give thanks to Archangel Michael, your Guardian Angels, Spirit Guides, Mother and Father God.

Exercise for Opening the Third Eye, by Robert Gerami

Opening the Third Eye sounds really exciting, and it certainly can be exciting.

On the flip side, it can be down-right frightening.  Before you begin this
exercise you should take time to consider what your motivation is for wanting to open your third eye.

We live in a society that frowns upon many spiritual aspects, note that I wrote
spiritual, not religious, two very different things.  We live at a base frequency that hides many other frequencies from us on our normal daily basis.  Opening your Third Eye exposes you to newer frequencies.  There is an entirely new world out there for you to experience.  Are you really prepared for what you may see?

It can be scary.  Try to remember that although you are now beginning to focus on these otherworldly entities, they have existed along-side you long before you could ever see and experience their presence with your third eye.

After you open your third eye, should you become scared you gently close it using your index finger, this will be described below.  If you are not sure that you’re ready, I encourage you to explore the Web and
learn more.  YouTube has many videos devoted to this topic.

When you are ready to begin:

Preparing for this amazing journey!

  • Find a comfortable spot to sit or lay down, with the least amount of distractions as possible.
  • If you prefer, play soft music in the background.
  • Begin this exercise by switching your focus to your breathing.
  • Close your eyes.
  • Breathe in deeply through your nose, filling your lungs as you expand your abdomen, chest, and shoulders, this is known as a full-breath.
  • At a count of four, slowly exhale through your mouth all the air from your lungs, using your abdomen to gently expel the air from your lungs.
  • Repeat the breath work as you move towards a state of relaxation.
  • Once you have reached a comfortable and relaxed state continue to the next step.
  • Using your index finger of your dominant hand touch your third eye located between and above your physical eyes. Follow the bridge of your nose up and about a half inch above your eyes.
  • With your intention set to allow the third eye to open, gently push your finger up, as a representation of the eyelid of your third eye opening up.
  • Soften your breathing to a smooth steady rhythm as you continue to relax.
  • Gently remove your finger as you continue to relax.

As with many things in life, you must practice becoming proficient.  There are three steps that you can use to train your third eye to focus on this once hidden world.  You can practice all three steps in one sitting, or practice each one over the course of several days or weeks.

  • Practice the following three steps as you learn to focus your third eye:
  • Observe colors:
  • Close your physical eyes and set your attention on the natural internal screen in front of your third eye.
  • Your third eye will begin to focus now that it has opened. Relax and begin to perceive colors.
  • As you relax, continue to observe the various colors that manifest onto the minds internal screen.
  • Take time to enjoy the amazing colors.

Observe shapes:

  • Continue to focus on the screen behind your third eye with your physical eyes closed. As you observe the various colors, you will begin to see basic shapes manifesting on your minds internal screen.
  • As shapes appear, relax and observe them move in and out of focus. Enjoy each shapes amazing dance.
  • Avoid trying to focus too hard; keep a relaxed state of mind. Practice, practice, and more practice. Remember, you have lived a number of years with your third eye closed.  Now that it is opened, you are starting to learn how to focus and see all that has been hidden.  Try not to rush, keep a relaxed state and above all else; enjoy the experience!

Observe images:

  • So this is the step you’ve been waiting for, I know, you can hardly wait!  Keep calm and remember that everything you see has been here all along.  You are finally learning to focus your third eye!
  • As you continue to focus on your minds internal screen, further relax and allow a more detailed image to appear.
  • As the image begins to form and move into focus, simply think about moving towards the image and you will gently move closer.
  • Observe the full details of the image. Details such as the colors, movement, location, objects no matter how small or large, and any people or beings that are in the image.
  • As you absorb the details within the image allow yourself to slowly and gently enter the image. Allow it to become one with you.
  • Take time to enjoy the amazing images manifesting around you. Know that you are safe and can simply return at any time.
  • When you are ready, slowly return to the present by setting your focus back on your breath.
  • Breathe in deeply through your nose, filling your lungs as you expand your abdomen, chest, and shoulders, this is known as a full-breath.
  • Slowly exhale through your mouth all the air from your lungs, using your abdomen to gently expel the air from your lungs
  • Consciously move your fingers, hands, toes, feet, legs, and arms as you slowly open your eyes.
  • Once alert, journal your experience.
  • Practice these steps until you can comfortably observe colors, shapes, and images. As we are all unique, the speed and progression at which each of us learns to develop our third eye will vary.  You may find that you observe shapes faster than colors, or images may quickly jump into focus.  No matter the speed, stay relaxed and practice.  Trying to force the colors, shapes, and images to appear will often constrict the energy flow, which in turn impedes the process.  Relax and allow the journey to begin.

Programming an Automatic Activation Trigger

Once you have practiced opening and focusing your third eye, it is important to perform the following actions to allow you to quickly open and tap into the power of the third eye.

  • Relax your body and focus your awareness on your heart center. Breath-in three cleansing breathes thru your heart Chakra visualizing a beautiful violet light entering and surrounding your heart Chakra – completely cleansing it.
  • Begin slowing your mind and body functioning to a peaceful and harmonic state of balance. Take as much time as required to enter into this state of relaxation.
  • Decide what your physical trigger will be. For example, “Each time I tap my third eye with my index finger I will instantly be in a receptive state as my third eye fully opens.”
  • Repeat this out loud to yourself at least ten (10) times as you go through the actual motion.
  • Each time you activate your physical trigger notice how relaxed you feel. Be sure to pay attention to the physical sensations that you are experiencing as you program your trigger.
  • Finish with a simple blessing acknowledging the wonderful gift you have been given.
  • Slowly return to the present by setting your focus back on to your breath.
  • Breathe in deeply through your nose, filling your lungs as you expand your abdomen, chest, and shoulders, this is known as a full-breath.
  • Slowly exhale through your mouth all the air from your lungs, using your abdomen to gently expel the air from your lungs
  • Consciously move your fingers, hands, toes, feet, legs, and arms as you slowly open your eyes.
  • Once alert, journal your experience.

This process will program your sub-conscious with a physical trigger that allows you to activate your third eye on demand.  You have created a Trigger Release.

Using your Trigger Release:

Once you have activated your third eye and created a Trigger Release, it is now easy to quickly move into a receptive state by opening your third eye using the Trigger Release.

When you desire the assistance of your third eye to help you during your day, simply activate the third eye using your Trigger Release. Allow yourself to ease into a full receptive state.  Listen to your intuition and allow the heighten awareness to guide you.

Closing your Third Eye:

As you become more and more in tune with your third eye, you will naturally desire that it stays open to guide you throughout your day.  Yet, there may be times where the information it opens you up to is flowing too fast for you to properly process.  In these times, simply say to yourself – I now close my third eye to allow me a period of rest.

It might be helpful for you to create a Trigger Release to quickly allow you to close your third eye.

Use the above exercise to create new Trigger Release by simply substituting the example in step 3 with something like this: “ Each time I touch the rear center of my head with my index finger, my third eye will gently close and give me a break from the added flow of information. “

Blending

Where do I go from here?  Blending the powers of an opened third eye with the physical world around us. Obviously, you are not going to walk through life with your physical eyes closed.  You will need to learn to use the third eye to develop your overall sight.

Bedtime Practice:

  • A good way to start is at night as you prepare for sleep. Turn off the lights and enter a relaxed state as you prepare for sleep. This is where using your automatic triggers will speed up the process.
  • Now, with the eyes open and viewing the darkness of your room, set your focus with your third eye, by first using your automatic trigger to open your third eye.
  • Then slowly focus on various sections of your room, keeping your physical eyes purposely out of focus. Look for colors, patterns, shapes, and various spiritual entities, remembering that they have been around long before you learned to open your third eye, so keep calm!
  • Practice this each night. Exercising your third eye. Another good time to practice is when you wake up during the night, or right as you wake up in the morning.

Daytime Practice:

During the daytime as you are out and about, take a few minutes when you can, at lunch, during breaks and pick a person that is sitting preferably with a solid background behind them, at least while you are learning.  If you have a like-minded friend, recruit them as your subject and have them stand or sit in front of a solid colored wall.  Light colors are good to start out with.

Set your intention with the help of your third eye to see their aura.  One way is to use your physical eyes and look slightly above their head and then adjust your focus beyond their head intending that your third eye will bring into focus the natural energy field surrounding their physical body.

Initially, this will appear as a white glow around their head and body.  Depending on the person, this could be anywhere from a half inch to several inches or even more around them.  The aura is visible around the entire body, but for now, you are focused on the head.

Another great place to practice is during a speech or presentation.  Practice using your third eye as described above.  If the person is moving about, you can watch the energy move with them.

With practice, you will start to notice colors.  The aura around people, animals, plants, and physical objects have a range of colors and no two are the same.  Over time, sometimes even short periods of time the colors can shift and change depending on what is happening.

There is a multitude of wonderful books describing the aura, check them out.  Remember, we are all interpreting what we see through the filters we have set in place.  What one person teaches about the aura may not be how you interpret them.  Go with your instinct.

Beyond just seeing auras:

The ability to observe auras is by itself, extremely useful and can give you a real heads up to the intentions and state of those around you.

There is more. Expand beyond just auras.  Relax and soften your focus.  What do you see come into your third eyes field of vision, shapes, colors, otherworldly spirits, or perhaps your guardian angles?  Be sure to acknowledge their presence.  They have been assigned to watch over you.

Practice, practice, practice and build your third eyes ability to focus on the amazing worlds around you. Make sure to enjoy the journey.
